Situation:
Our Client needed a product designed to be used for monitoring and communicating a patient’s vital signs and for relaying other critical information between rescuers and hospital staff. Solid was enlisted to integrate a variety of medical devices, computer, power management, and communications systems within an environmentally hardened and sealed case.

Solid participated from the beginning through build and test of the first prototype. Involvement included conceptual layout development, mechanical and electrical engineering, assembly and testing.
Solution:
Success! The resulting design yielded a self-contained medical diagnostic unit that can be used by rescuers such as the Coast Guard, in remote and wilderness areas. Mechanical product design, enhancements, and integration were all performed utilizing SolidWorks Software. Solid performed all component sourcing, procurement, inspection and assembly operations to produce this product for our client.
