SOLID IDEAS, SOLID PEOPLE
John Jancsek founded Solid Design Solutions Australia (Solid Design) in Brisbane, to design and develop products for companies in Australia and internationally. Our focus is on defining the appropriate strategic product design plan for the client’s environment, the product users and the time/cost budgets. Our project managers know from experience that getting the plan right and then building the right team to execute that plan, is key to a successful project.

In 1997, John Jancsek founded Solid Design Solutions in the United States. It began with an idea and just a handful of engineers supporting companies in Minnesota, providing engineering design services within the USA. This company now employs more than 25 people, mostly engineers possessing a wide range of electro-mechanical design skills developing products for clients spanning many different markets. Solid Design maintains a strong strategic relationship with Solid Design Solutions in America, the two companies our under separate ownership.

John is actively involved in all Solid Design projects in Australia. John obtained his Master of Engineering Management degree from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), is a certified Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute (PMI) and has over 25 years of experience designing, developing and launching new electro-mechanical products. John is also registered professional engineer in Queensland (RPEQ).
